Portrait Photography
Portrait Photography can showcase your unique character. Portraits often emphasize something about your life, and may include elements of your lifestyle, hobbies, talents, or occupation. We can make your photography photo portrait in the studio, outdoors, or in a your home or business environment. A great portrait will make the viewer want to know more about you.
I like to involve you in the creative process of taking your picture. That may mean giving suggestions about posing, or using a prop or part of the environment to engage your participation. That’s an essential aspect of portrait photography, and can help you to bring out your personality.
Your portrait can be formal, dress-up, and proper; or informal and playful. Lighting can play a big part of the mood of your picture, especially when we’re shooting in the studio. For portrait photography, we can go bright and cheerful, or dark and dramatic with more shadow.
Studio backgrounds can also play a big role in the overall mood of your photography photo portrait. I like to keep a variety of background colors and textures on hand, to complement your skin coloring, hair, and eye color. Once your portrait is captured, it’s also easy to change the color of the background in the picture, or even switch out the background entirely, to optimize the effect.
A great portrait will help you succeed in your line of work, and can be a positive influence on your own attitude about yourself as well.
Headshots
Photography headshots are typically closeup images that show your face, but can include part of your upper body as well. You can use headshots for your work in business or entertainment fields, and display them in print and web media. I’ll work with you to help find your best angle, and showcase your face in the best light, ensuring high-quality portrait photography sessions. A great headshot shows your unique character and personality.
