Jewelry photography requires special care and a special set of techniques. Any product that has reflective surfaces — gemstones, gold, silver, platinum, and glass for example — presents particular challenges for product photos. You’ve got to show the shine, but not too much shine. And you’ve got to show the fine details, facets, inscriptions, and more. It gets even more complicated if your pieces are both dark and shiny. Here at Desert Heart, we’ve mastered techniques for handling all those challenges and more.

Backgrounds are a big key to your product photography. For Amazon and your website, you may need your products isolated on a completely white background. If you’ve tried to do that in your home or office, you know it’s not as easy as it you might think. But with our fancy tools, it’s easy for us.

For your hero shot — that big fancy product photo that headlines your page — we’ll take extra time to set up background, lighting, and props that make your item look especially fabulous. We’ll collaborate with you and incorporate your ideas and suggestions, or you can tell us to run with it on our own. Either way, we’ll come up with something eye catching and exciting to see.
